We have most of the movie channels free for a few months, as offered by Verizon FiOS cable, and I've been watching "Notorious". There is a part in this movie where his wife catches him in his hotel room with another woman, and I think I remember a part in "Walk the Line" as well where Johnny Cash's wife catches him somewhere in bed with another woman. It's been said that "a man's got needs," and I've even been told that to my face from guys who were talking with me about their relationships, talkin' shit about paying some ho down the road to give them a quick fuck or a blow job without consent from their significant other to be doing this, and without caring what their alleged significant other would think about this. I can't call that a man and I'm not apologizing for that statement. All you bitch-ass crackas (yes, I said crackas), spicks, wetbacks, niggas, sand-niggas, and anybody I left out, guess what? A woman's got needs too, and the heart of a woman's needs is to have an honest, completely and thoroughly loyal man who understands her, or at least tries his very best to understand her. She wants her man to hold her and protect her with everything he knows. This isn't just biased against men either. From my experiences with most girls I've ever been with, if you're a true man who does all this for your woman and she quite obviously doesn't even acknowledge it-let alone appreciate it-then drop her on her ass. There are plenty more fish in the sea. As cliché as that is, it's true. For the kind of guys I was talking about in the beginning of this: If you don't truly want an honest, loyal, committed relationship with a woman, don't look her in her eyes and tell her that she's the best thing that's ever happened to you, the sunshine that begins your day, etc, etc. For the guys: Don't be a "man" by the standards of what the media gives you to work with where you never have to concern yourself with anyone's feelings but your own and all that, be human.
To add on to this with something that's actually quite relevant to the entry, I wasn't with my parents in the car ten minutes before I responded to something that I can't recall anymore with, "I tend to listen to dad more than any of the rest of you." My mom replied, "That's probably due to thinking that men are smarter or better somehow
" I stopped her before she could even finish it and told her I was going to drop that conversation. My mom-the same woman who used to make VERY chauvinistic remarks against men with her friends around me in my developing years and sometimes even to me directly-had the nerve to imply that I'M sexist! What a fucking bitch! You may have noticed that aside from the racial slurs to give the indication that those kinds of guys are my inferiors, I was incredibly careful with how I worded things in that rant because of how chauvinistic some things I could have potentially said could be taken, well, that's why. SHE is why. This will be my last journal entry on this profile, but I'll be adding it to the new one.
